irs is a command-line application that downloads audio and metadata in order to package an mp3 with both. Extensible, the user can download individual songs, entire albums, or playlists from Spotify. Note that the binaries right now have only been tested on WSL. They should run on most Linux distros, and OS X, but if they don't please make an issue. At it's core irs downloads individual songs. It does this by interfacing with the Spotify API, grabbing metadata, and then searching Youtube for a video containing the song's audio. It will download the video using youtube-dl, extract the audio using ffmpeg, and then pack the audio and metadata together into an MP3. From the core, it has been extended to download the index of albums and playlists through the Spotify API, and then iteratively use the method described for downloading each song.

Now for Linux. But It will be cross platform. Download and extract mp3 using youtube-dl. And auto-tag mp3 meta data. This makes enormous music resources of Youtube music videos library of your music archive. Many songs separated by " - " between artist name and song name automatically tagged by "Jaydle Music Manager". Try it! I'm sure you will like it!! 1. Decide download directory by Store > Change Save Directory . ( I recommend near to your home directory because of JMM beta specification...) 2. Go to your fav music video on Youtube site. 3. Copy and Paste the URL to Text field of Jaydle. 4. Press Download below. 5. You can check files by Store > List Directory, Or Store > List MP3 Files. 6. Open Jaydle Music Manager and select download directory. 7. Click Auto Tagging 8. If displaying result is O.K, click Execute. That's all, if the files separated by " - ", it will be tagged automatically. And you can move the to your library by clicking "Move tagged items". It'

A music downloading software written in python using tkinter, still in Alpha, the software takes some time to start. Please note that when the software says not responding DO NOT CLOSE IT, it is downloading the songs . The code is pretty shit but does the job.
