Crossfire is a free, open-source, cooperative multi-player RPG and adventure game. Since its initial release, Crossfire has grown to encompass over 150 monsters, 3000 areas to explore, an elaborate magic system, 14 races, 16 character classes, and many powerful artifacts scattered far and wide. Set in a fantastical medieval world, it blends the style of Gauntlet, NetHack, Moria, and Angband.

A 24x24 tileset intended for use with Crossfire RPG Game servers. Many images were pulled from old versions of the game (0.92.0 was a specific baseline). The implementations of DNS and the Crossfire metaserver expect a range of known IP addresses for an address to be in. The Crossfire metaserver appears to expect a resolvable domain name or a static IP. It appears, though, that by determining the Crossfire server's public IP address before each time it reports to the metaserver, we should be able to have a server hosted on a dynamic IP range controlled by an ISP, without having to set up a static IP nor a DNS entry. ...

A rebuild and update of the Crossfire RPG of the ageing code C to a modular C++ design with the intention of being dropped in replacement the existing Crossfire code base on completion.
