    VidGear

    VidGear

    A High-performance cross-platform Video Processing Python framework

...The framework is built around modular components called “gears,” each responsible for tasks such as video capture, streaming, encoding, and network transmission. It supports multi-threaded and asynchronous operations, enabling low-latency processing and efficient handling of high-throughput video streams. VidGear is designed to handle a wide range of use cases, including live streaming, video stabilization, screencasting, and distributed video systems. Its emphasis on simplicity allows developers to implement advanced multimedia pipelines with minimal code while maintaining performance and flexibility.

    MRelay

Host to Host Network Acceleration and Encryption

MRelay splits and distributes the traffic of a single TCP connection to several connections and merges the data at the other end. Using this approach, it is possible to achieve high throughput between two points on the network regardless of the delay between two points. MRelay can optionally encrypt the data and exchange some http headers before the relay process to make the traffic look like a regular http file download. This can be used to overcome the highly restrictive firewalls that are content-sensitive or can detect and block VPN traffic. ...

    cl-jpeg

    JPEG encoder implementation using OpenCL

...Unfortunately this implementation is no match for even one threaded SSE2 jpeg encoder, too much data goes through PCIe.
