Grab movie info fast and easy. MRF is a software designed to fetch movie information from user folder. It can read files with garbled name in english or russian, and will try to predict its name using its own mechanism and web services.

A Python script that can be used to get information on TV shows and Movie Shows from thetvdb.org and themoviedb.org. This is an learning experience and anybody can chime in on everything.

I wrote this little program to be able to easily create mp3 sticks to play in my car directly from my Amarok collection). For this purpose the stick needs a flat folder structure and be sorted alphabetically before copying. The small Qt4 dialog has a drop area where you can drag mp3s (from file manager or Amarok, perhaps also other programs) onto it and it will read the ID3 tags and create a sorted folder structure with "Artist - Album" and shows the number of tracks and size it would take. When you are ready filling the collection press OK to copy it. At the moment there aren't many options but I could put some more effort into it, when someone is intereste.

Mururoa is a set of Python libraries for making games, and other applications that demand similar technologies. It is *not* a framework. The aim is to make it easy for you to pick the parts you need and integrate them into your code.

Given two trees of audio files, examine the metadata for each file to try and determine the differences in the content of the trees. This helps find duplicate songs (or non-duplicated songs) even if the music is stored in different formats. Toggles let you determine how specific the matching criteria must be: Track number and song name? Artist, album, and track length? All of the above? Ultimately this program will let you delete duplicates from either the left or right trees, or copy non-duplicated files from one tree to the other. However until the matching code gets a lot more reliable the only action allowed is to export the list of files suspected to be duplicated in both trees. (Prerequisite: uses the `Mutagen' library to process ID3 data and `wx' for the UI.) The latest code is always available via `git' but since there's undoubtedly a lot of bugs right now pre-packaged .ZIP files will only be made available for `big' changes.
