The tool "akaidatdecode" can be used to decode the AKAI S1000/S3000 DAT-backup format. "akaidatdecode" converts a suitable WAV-file (DAT-backup signal) into a tar-file (file archive). This program was written in 2002, so I don't remember much about it ... but I used it a lot, as much as my close friends. I decided only now (shame on me) to share it with everybody in the world.
