Specifically, this script does three things to a detected USB or SD card: 1 Recursively sets the date of all FAT directories and files to the current time. #2 Sorts the FAT file system to match the names of the files and folders. #3.Offers Picard to perform other tasks with your music, such as downloading album art.

For this purpose the stick needs a flat folder structure and be sorted alphabetically before copying. The small Qt4 dialog has a drop area where you can drag mp3s (from file manager or Amarok, perhaps also other programs) onto it and it will read the ID3 tags and create a sorted folder structure with "Artist - Album" and shows the number of tracks and size it would take. ...
