Extend abcm2ps to support direct generation of PNG, SVG and PDF files
abcCairo is a project to create a Cairo backend for abcm2ps, enabling it to generate output in the formats supported by the Cairo library; PNG, SVG and PDF. abcm2ps is a command line program written by Jean-François Moine which converts abc music notation to music sheet in PostScript or SVG format. fl_toadflax is a viewer/editor for abc music notation files
fl_toadflax is a re-write of the Toadflax project to use the FLTK windowing toolkit instead of GTK. It allows you to view, transpose and edit abc files as well as making changes to the details of the notation. It also differs from the original Toadflax in that it uses abcCairo, based on abcm2ps to display the music. -

... uses the music renderer from the abcCairo project based on abcm2ps. The source can be hand-edited or transformed in various ways using an adaptation of the abc2abc program. Perhaps the most useful feature that this provides is transposition with the ability to instantly see the effect of a transposition.
