    HadesVR

    HadesVR

The "DIY" SteamVR compatible VR setup made for tinkerers

HadesVR is a SteamVR compatible VR setup made for tinkerers. The setup includes DIY controllers that are capable of emulating HTC vive wands or most aspects of the Valve Index Knuckles controllers (including finger tracking!). It also includes tracking electronics for a Headset, including an integrated wireless receiver to receive the controllers' data. There's also custom controller hardware like 3d printable shells (still a bit of a WIP) with their respective custom PCBs to build your own Knuckles controllers. The SteamVR driver used to be based on TrueOpenVR but it's modified so heavily I'm making it its own thing. This driver also uses PSMoveService (for now at least) for the positional tracking of HMD and controllers, using ping pong balls and different colors of LED's. The headset connects to the PC and receives rotation and button data from both controllers through RF, while the tracking is done outside-in (base stations) using Playstation Move Cameras and PSMoveService.

    Kornia

    Kornia

Open Source Differentiable Computer Vision Library

Kornia is a differentiable computer vision library for PyTorch. It consists of a set of routines and differentiable modules to solve generic computer vision problems. At its core, the package uses PyTorch as its main backend both for efficiency and to take advantage of the reverse-mode auto-differentiation to define and compute the gradient of complex functions. Inspired by existing packages, this library is composed by a subset of packages containing operators that can be inserted within neural networks to train models to perform image transformations, epipolar geometry, depth estimation, and low-level image processing such as filtering and edge detection that operate directly on tensors. With Kornia we fill the gap between classical and deep computer vision that implements standard and advanced vision algorithms for AI. Our libraries and initiatives are always according to the community needs.

    Lidarr

    Lidarr

Looks and smells like Sonarr but made for music

Lidarr is an open-source music collection manager tailored to automate the tracking, downloading, and organizing of music tracks and albums from Usenet, BitTorrent, or other sources. It continuously monitors RSS feeds for new releases from your favorite artists, automatically retrieves them, sorts files into your library, and ensures consistent naming and tagging so your collection stays tidy and accessible. The tool also supports quality upgrades: if a better version of a track becomes available (for example, a lossless format), Lidarr can automatically fetch and replace lower-quality files, saving you manual effort. Integrated with many popular download clients and indexers, users can customize how Lidarr interacts with their existing setup for optimized automation. Built with a user-friendly web interface, it works cross-platform on Windows, macOS, Linux, and NAS systems, and can also run as a Docker service for containerized environments.

    Monster Mash

    Monster Mash

New Sketch-Based Modeling and Animation Tool

Monster Mash is a playful, research-grade 2D-to-3D modeling and animation tool that turns quick pen strokes into lively, deformable characters in seconds. You sketch a silhouette and interior strokes to hint at limbs or structure, then “inflate” the drawing into a volumetric, puppet-like mesh that preserves the feel of the original art. The interface favors immediacy: draw, inflate, pose, and record motion directly in the canvas, without manual rigging, weight painting, or complicated asset pipelines. Under the hood it builds a lightweight surface and auto-assigns handles so you can grab and move parts intuitively, with smooth deformations propagating across the body. Because it runs interactively, artists iterate rapidly—blocking poses, trying alternate proportions, or recording short performances—before exporting results downstream. It’s equally useful for education, previs, and indie production where fast iteration trumps photorealism.

    Radiance

    Radiance

Highly accurate ray-tracing software system for UNIX computers

Radiance is a free, highly accurate ray-tracing software system for UNIX computers. It is a suite of programs designed for the analysis and visualization of lighting in design. Radiance is superior to simpler lighting calculation and rendering tools in that there are no limitations on the geometry or the materials that may be simulated. Scene geometry, materials, luminaires, time, date and sky conditions (for daylight calculations) are specified; spectral radiance (ie. luminance + color), irradiance (illuminance + color) and glare indices are calculated. Simulation results may be displayed as color images, numerical values and contour plots. Radiance is useful for architects and engineers in predicting illumination, visual quality and appearance of innovative design spaces; and for researchers in evaluating new lighting and daylighting technologies.

    React Adopt

    React Adopt

Compose render props components like a pro

React Adopt is a small TypeScript library for composing multiple React render-prop components into a cleaner interface. It was created to solve the problem of nested render-prop callbacks, which can make React code harder to read and maintain. The library provides a simple adopt method that combines results from a mapper into a single render function. It supports use cases involving multiple render-prop utilities, React Context consumers, custom render handling, mapper-based prop shaping, and inline composition. At only about 0.7 KB minified, it is intentionally small and focused. It is most useful in older or render-prop-heavy React codebases that need a cleaner composition pattern without introducing a larger state-management abstraction.

    Responsively Lazy

    Responsively Lazy

    Lazy load responsive images

Lazy load responsive images. The best lazy loading implementation available. Handles responsive images. Truly lazy (absolutely no unnecessary requests) SEO-friendly (valid HTML). It supports WebP. The things to customize are the padding-bottom style and the values of the src and data-srcset attributes. If you don't know the image aspect ratio you can skip the div tag and move the responsively-lazy class to the img tag. Responsively Lazy is very different from the other lazy loading libraries. They make you break your HTML by removing the src attribute, or make you put tiny version there or make you use <noscript> to make your images appear in Google Images. The lazy loading works in browsers supporting the srcset attribute. As of December 2017 that's 86.78%. Unsupported browsers will load the image in the src attribute. That's the image search engines and social networks will find, so it's better to make it high-resolution.

    Sherloq

An open source digital image forensic toolset

Sherloq is a research-oriented toolkit designed for digital image forensics, providing an integrated environment to experiment with algorithms for image analysis and tampering detection. Rather than functioning as an automated decision-making system, it serves as a companion tool for researchers, enthusiasts, and students who want to explore forensic techniques from scientific literature and workshops. The project emphasizes transparency and community collaboration, contrasting with proprietary forensic tools that often rely on secrecy. Initially developed in C++ in 2015 and later transitioned to a Qt-based GUI in 2017, Sherloq has since been ported to Python with PySide2, Matplotlib, and OpenCV to improve accessibility and ease of development. Its interface allows users to inspect images with real-time zoom, metadata exploration, noise analysis, and specialized algorithms for detecting forgeries and manipulations.

Image processing algorithms in pure Go

A collection of parallel image processing algorithms in pure Go. The aim of this project is simplicity in use and development over absolute high performance, but most algorithms are designed to be efficient and make use of parallelism when available. It uses packages from the standard library whenever possible to reduce dependency use and development abstractions. All operations return image types from the standard library. Package convolution provides the functionality to create and apply a kernel to an image. Package effect provides the functionality to manipulate images to achieve various looks. Package histogram provides basic histogram types and functions to analyze RGBA images. Package paint provides functions to edit a group of pixels on an image.
