This program works with HDHomeRun tuners only. Just tell it where to store the recordings, and it will automatically scan for available channels, and update the Program Guide -- without any paid TV Guide subscription. You can schedule (repeated) recording by title, by channel + time slot, watch live, pause, etc... When the storage drive fills up yaetv automatically deletes oldest recording(s) to make room for the latest recording. I wrote this program for myself, as a replacement for Eye TV. If you have an HDHomeRun tuner you could use it as well. Notes: - The tuner must be discoverable (not blocked by the firewall), it must be able to connect to UDP port 65001. - First channel scan can take ~20min - Double-click mostly toggles full screen - Double-click on the channel tile to watch it live - Click on circle to toggle recording manually Linux binaries are provided as AppImage, built on Ubuntu 14.04.

Triceratops is an analogue style polyphonic subtractive synthesizer plugin, for use with the LV2 plug architecture, at this time there is no standalone version. An up to date version of the LV2 library is required along with a suitable host (e.g. Qtractor, Jalv, Ardour), I highly recommend either the KXstudio distro or the KXstudio ubuntu repositories! The intention is for this synth to be part of a suite including a drum machine (Stegosaurus) and a wavetable synth (Dracorex), watch this space.

EtiC is a galaxy simulation software that generates and renders a mock galaxy for rational estimation of the number of extraterrestrial civilizations. Stars and planets are simulated with plausible physical characteristics, based on user-adjustable parameters. An EtiC simulation run consists to generate a galaxy disk physical stars, associate planets to the stars, and for habitable planets, simulate the life stages evolution until extinction. A visual animation of the galaxy and user selection of highlighted star-planet objects is provided, together with statistics (25+ graphs) and estimates of Drake equation factors. The V2_1 provides several new features: planets surface magnetic field, reworked life stage transitions, integration of MW exoplanets catalog, planets view and graphs window optionally on different threads... EtiC is based on OpenGL / GLFW 3.2, runs on MSWindows 7 and MacOsX. Source code in C++, was developped using the Dev-C++ IDE and XCode.
