Custom VLC-driven media center shell interface --- An alternative to m|cr0$haft's XP Media Center, aka resource-hog. Developed originally for my home system, I figured I'd publish this after seeing the lack of efficient similar apps for local media.

This plugin provides a nice spectrum analyzer for XMMS without being a CPU hog. You can even see the harmonics of a nice violin play. Source tarball only, helpers for packaging (DEB, RPM) needed. There are no extra features, but no bugs known either.
