We are a completely new mud engine not based on any previous ones but taking their best features, optimizing them and putting them to use. The source code is mainly written in C++ and is aimed to be as multi-platform as possible.
Razors Edge is a MUD based on the CircleMUD 2.0 code, with many enhancements. SourceForge is used to track bugs within the server code, and also a distribution/development mechanism for the Razors Client (Curses) and the EdgeWorld Builder (Perl/Tk)
Our objective is to take a Rot codebase, develope it more, and make many more advancements to it including: new stock areas, new immortal commands, new mortal commands, reduce resourses used, and add better security features to the code itself.
