...The game will use a mixture of different genres including steampunk, fantasy, mid-evil, and modern. The user will have to travel down 4 main paths each progressively harder than the last and each will have more than one genre conflicting inside. Many (most?) MUD servers hard-code a specific game system, or a specific game setting within their code, but HexMUD strives to be as generic as possible in this area, allowing each separate administrator to easily build a custom code base while also gaining access to all of the core features HexMUD provides.
