...All the communication between ethflop (the TSR) and ethflopd (the Linux daemon) is based on raw Ethernet. No need for any network configuration - the DOS PC only needs to have some kind of Ethernet adapter (physical or emulated, for example through PLIP) and a suitable packet driver. -

...Some parts of the 3D engine, like the animated bump mapping, are still waiting to be ported to my newer 3D project, GLOBE_3D !... DOS and Linux versions available. Remarks for the DOS version: It is also a funny example of a game system almost fully in Ada, including sound driver, graphics driver, keyboard driver. The only things not in Ada there are the file system (MS-DOS), the 32-bit DOS extender (CWSDPMI) and the mouse driver. For running, I recommend DOSBox. For building from sources, you'll need the DJGPP compiler, which contains a version of GNAT - seems to be still updated as in June 2016 ! ... -

This is the source code for the 1994 DOS shareware game God of Thunder (Turbo C/Assembler). It is a good example of how not to code in C. I was once told it was impressive that it actually worked, so that's something. This is only the main source code here. I have released it to the public domain. Do whatever you want with it. It will not compile as-is. There is at least 1 3rd party compression file missing and the sound/music code was a licensed library that is not open source. ...

clipper program example
A small example of clipper program
I wrote this software about 15 years ago (around 1999); it's a simple program to register phone cable numers installations on a building. I decided to share it just as an example of a unusual language - at that time, Clipper was largelly used to write bank program routines. I think it would be a nice source do study a 'dead' program language as Clipper. Have fun! -

...It allow to change easily the logic states of any pins, either manually or automatically (on a predefined time basis). With a small electronic circuit we can for example drive electric devices trought the PC. The program can support max. 24 devices and 3 LPT ports (0x287, 0x387 and 0x3BC). There is no need to build an additional electronic circuit for small power devices like LEDs (10-20mA), but for bigger projects (motors, etc.), the circuit is needed. The lptdrv tool is written in QuickBASIC. -
