H-Mpeg war ein stand-alone MP3-Player zum "selber basteln". Dieses Projekt beschäftigte sich mit der Entwicklung neuer Hardware-Layouts und vor allem neuer Software. Da jeder mittlerweile einfach für extrem wenig Geld einen leistungsfähigen MP3-Player kaufen kann, wird das Projekt nicht mehr gewartet.
