...It provides a "product catalogue" that is accessible from any workplace over Intranet (http) and the server can be operated "in the cloud". Although this documentation deals in particular with a stock of chemicals in a laboratory, it can easily be adapted to any other "items" such as samples, spare parts, tools and other inventory. The software does not rely on a proprietary "solution" but employs standard formats and protocols. It is freely available under the terms and conditions of the GNU Public License (GPL v2), thus being open for extensions and custom modifications. -

...Sample monodispersity is key to reliable SAXS data interpretation and model building. Beamline setups with inline high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) are particularly useful for accurate profiling of heterogeneous samples. The program DATASW performs averaging of individual data frames from HPLC-SAXS experiment using a sliding window of a user-specified size, calculates overall parameters (I(0), Rg, Dmax and MW) and predicts the folding state (folded/unfolded) of the sample. The program Orthos is developed to performed simulation (including nonlinear least-squares fitting) of EPR spectra of nitroxide biradicals. The program capabilities include simulation of rigid-limit and slow-motional spectra, of both isotropic and aligned samples. The spectra of multiple paramagnetic species, both bi- and monoradicals can be modeled. Taxonomy assignment of metazoans using a python based pipeline
The aim of this project is to create an automated pipeline for taxonomic assignment of DNA sequences obtained from environmental samples. We develop a series of python scripts to process the raw sequence data obtained from benthic environmental samples and to taxonomical assignment of these sequences and finally to integrate all data in a relational database. -
