HyperVoicing is designed to create note-to-note musical compositions. HyperVoicing has six keyboard editors, a drum editor and a MIDI editing table. HyperVoicing has a composition aid called "MIDI Layer".
This composition aid based on :
- a chord generator,
- a system for calculating playable scales on chords,
- the materialization of playable scales in a keyboard editor by horizontal lines.
Takt is a text-based language for describing note and chord sequences as well as algorithmic compositon rules with C-like syntax. This software package contains a REPL (read-eval-play loop) interpreter for Takt, a MIDI-file-to-Takt translator, and an Emacs interface program which enables note entry from a MIDI keyboard.

MIDI Rules is a Rule-Based MIDI Processing Environment that can process (translate, map, convert, filter, trigger, route) MIDI messages. It supports multiple MIDI inputs/outputs, variables (enables state-based processing) and timed/delayed messages.
MusicCreator is a Java application that composes rules-based "classical" music. Rules are specified using a custom XML syntax. The user can specify the ruleset, the length of the song in meaures, and the tempo. Music is saved to MIDI or MusicXML format
