...First run the Server... note the ip address of server shown in the dialog box when the server runs
2. Go to Client folder. put ip address of the server in the server.set file.
3. Run the Client application
4. Before Signing in you have to register a unique username by Clicking Sign up button at the bottom
5. Now you can sign in an see who is online...
6. You do not need to add people because they will appear automatically if they are online using Dr.J IM app.
Note:: Run Server on separate machine. There are some issues with file sharing feature when server is run on same machine...

A small (ish) messaging server for small businesses and other things like LAN parties or whatever you want to use it for. It has two components, the client and server. The clients can connect to servers and use that as a hub to communicate between each other. The admin running the server can also kick and ban people if they wish to. It also has peer to peer file transfer that currently has no size limit. Can't really explain all the features here, I'm running out of characters. Go look down...
