...Specifically for local stations that have a low budget and can't afford a commercial automation system. I have not had time to finish this software. If you are interested in using it please let me know. Currently it is designed for use with the SIMA-VS502 video switch, and I am using it in our local TV Station. There are changes that need to be made to the source code to be able to use it elsewhere. I am considering moving to using the ATEM switchers for playback in HD.

    DualSub

    Merge and Translate Subtitles

DualSub is a tool which allows you to merge two SRT subtitles in a single file. The idea of using merged subtitles (let's call them dual subtitles) is to watch movies/series in original version with two sets of subtitles. Why is this useful? Dual subtitles can be used to learn a second language while watching movies/series. The typical case is when your mother tongue is not English but you want to watch movies/series in English.

    Timeline thumbnails Flowplayer html5

    Timeline thumbnails Flowplayer html5

Generates preview images for timeline from h264 mp4 on the fly

...The big advantage of this plugin is that you don't need to pre generate these preview images and store them separately, it is done seamlessly on the fly for you. The mp4 meta data is loaded and parsed and then corresponding key frames are downloaded using byte-range requests and decoded in the browser so you do not need to deal with it. All major desktop browsers are supported, mobile devices without Flash are not supported but you probably will not this functionality on those.
