    TIGRE

    TIGRE

TIGRE: Tomographic Iterative GPU-based Reconstruction Toolbox

...Its focus is on iterative algorithms for improved image quality that have all been optimized to run on GPUs (including multi-GPUs) for improved speed. It combines the higher-level abstraction of MATLAB or Python with the performance of CUDA at a lower level in order to make it both fast and easy to use. TIGRE is free to download and distribute: use it, modify it, add to it, and share it. Our aim is to provide a wide range of easy-to-use algorithms for the tomographic community "off the shelf". We would like to build a stronger bridge between algorithm developers and imaging researchers/clinicians by encouraging and supporting contributions from both sides to TIGRE.

    ADiGator

    ADiGator

    A MATLAB Automatic Differentiation Tool

...Given a user written file, together with information on the inputs of said file, ADiGator uses forward mode automatic differentiation to generate a new file which contains the calculations required to compute the numeric derivatives of the original user function. Furthermore, these calculations are written entirely in the native MATLAB language, and thus the process may be repeated to obtain nth order derivative files. The package is particularly appealing for applications where the same derivative must be found at multiple different points, i.e. non-linear root finding/optimization, stiff ode integration, etc.

    Rand Tree

    Rand Tree

    Random Tree Generator for MatLab

RandTree is a MatLab based tree simulator program where the algorithm is based on Honda's model. We have used probabilistic generation of branches in order to simulate visually realistic tree structures. This program is designed to generate branching structures with bifurcation branching pattern (sympodial branching). By changing the probabilities and branching angles, you can generate different shapes of trees.

    CQT-FW

CQT-FW is an audio analisys tool for multiple pitch recognition

...In CQT-FW we have the same frequency resolution as CQT, but with fixed length windows in time, what leads to a constant time resolution as well. And more, time and frequency resolution are not dependent like in CQT end DFT transforms. We also propose a post processing witch eliminate the high order harmonics, leaving only the fundamental frequencies. The transform got good results in a good range of frequencies, but still have problems in low frequencies.

    Learning Stochastic Discrete Event Systems

Stochastic discrete event system analysis and verification are essential in order to ensure reliability in such systems. However, models that cannot be constructed with an hand-made process need to be learned. Thus, the SDES toolbox proposes an automated solution that is embedded in Matlab to learning and analisis generalized semi-Markov processes.

    Particular filter CUDA

    Particular filter CUDA

Improvements of positioning algorithms using CUDA

Our project consist in porting positioning algorithms on a GPU. We will improve programs which are already working on CPU in order to make them compatible with the CUDA technology offered by Nvidia. The advantage of this technology is that it allows us to use massive multithreading and so make calculations go faster. Algorithms will be implemented in C++.
