OpenM++ is an open source microsimulation platform inspired by and compatible with Modgen. OpenM++, compared to its closed source predecessor Modgen, has advantages like portability, scalability and open source. It is not a copy of Modgen, but a new, functionally equivalent implementation of the publicly available language specification.

VisualR is a (currently) Windows only C++ GUI programming interface to R. It allows creating full featured applications that complelely control R and serves as a GUI programming toolkit that can be controlled from inside R code.

QRMlib provides a library of methods to investigate Quantitative Risk Management, including Market Risk, Credit Risk and Operational Risk, as developed in the book "Quantitative Risk Management: Concepts, Techniques and Tools".

R-gregmisc is a set of extension package for the open-source statistical environment/language "R''. The R package to be built aims at implementing what I did in a few scripts for the preparation of the papers I published in CaGEO and TGIS (see below). Basically this is related to the computation of the distribution of k co-occurrences of spatial events (generalising the contiguity distributions - 2 co-occurrences at distance 0) to derive spatial clustering statistics (mainly using the Shannon entropy, then called the k-spatial entropy) and methods linked to this: SOOk, SelSOOk (see caGEO paper) and scankOO (see TGIS). Another method (CAkOO) performing a k-Correspondence Analysis (i.e. on a multiway table with k entries) on the contingencies of co-occurrenceshas been already "published in my JSS paper about another R package: PTAk. At the moment the basic scripts I have are based on points and use the R package spatstat, but I would like also to extend to any geometry type. So from all this "a plan" has first to be drawn! ... R2HTML is a package for R, which includes HTML function and methods to output R objects to HTML. Allow for redirection on the fly. A driver for Sweave allows to parse HTML flat files containing R code and to automatically write the corresponding outputs.

RIPE (Regulatory network Inference from joint Perturbation and Expression data) is a novel three-step method that integrates both perturbation data and steady state gene expression data in order to estimate a regulatory network. The ripe package is written in R, with additional functionality provided by a MATLAB executable file. The executable file uses a runtime engine called the MATLAB Compiler Runtime (MCR). The executable for different architectures is distributed on this site together with the R package itself.

Swire4R is an R package for exchanging data between R and Stata. SWire4R uses SWire for connecting R to Stata. SWire is a plugin for Stata >=13 which acts like a server: client applications can query SWire for interacting with Stata. SWire4R acts like a client application for Swire, providing the user with various basic functions for retrieving data from Stata and exporting data to Stata. SWire4R must be compiled by R. Opensource software projects for genetics and genomics from Sage Bionetworks.

This Java software includes algorithms of combinatorical optimization for the NP-hard offline ship lock scheduling problem. Solutions and performed computations can be displayed graphically. Besides, there is a framework for generating test instances and running these in parallel, as well as R/JGR code for statistical evaluation. Some tools for estimating the quality of calculated solutions will be further improved. Initially the software was developed within a project of TU Berlin regarding the Kiel Canal. Structlab is a machine learning C++ framework for structured domains, which provides a toolbox of learning methods and tools for preprocessing and visualization. It also provides a GUI to setup elaborate experiments in a visual and intuitive way.

hSDM is an R package for hierarchical species distribution models. Such models allows interpreting the observations (occurrence and abundance of a species) as a result of several hierarchical processes including ecological processes (habitat suitability, spatial dependence and anthropogenic disturbance) and observation processes (species detectability). Hierarchical species distribution models are essential for accurately characterizing the environmental response of species, predicting their probability of occurrence, and assessing uncertainty in the model results.
