Game of Life3D is an platform-independent OpenGL implementation of John Conway's Game of Life with a modern QT4 user interface. It features a random mode and different pre defined example modes.
Cellumat3D is a tool for simulating and exploring 3D cellular automata. The simulated universe is effectively unbound and visualized using OpenGL. Currently 2-state automata similar to Conway's 2D "Game of Life" with customizable rulesets are supported.
Ruby scripts grow 3D fractals and render them with PovRay, OpenInventor and YASRT. Includes (rough) ports of Lauren Lapre's LPARSER to GNU C++. Includes a RubyTk "sketch" output for quick previews as you edit a script.
