OPALE is an Open Sourceproject which development is done at two different levels: the OPALE library: which is a scientific library written in Java and which is composed of different modules (tools, swools, mathtools,...). Its purpose is to give
Calculate the number of solutions to place n queens on an n*n chess board, without any queen attacking each other. Options allow using rooks instead of queens, disabling knight attacks and setting the minimum distance between queens.
A program for exploring complex functions, much like the now out-dated f(z). Domain colored plots of complex functions. Click evaluate. Uses reflection so you can code almost anything for your formula. All java. Please help.
Jep is a Java package for parsing and evaluating mathematical expressions. It currently supports user defined variables, constants, and functions. The open-source Jep project was halted in favor of commercial development of version 3.0 upwards.
Advanced built-in security helps IT prevent breaches before they happen
Defend against security incidents with Chrome Enterprise. Create customizable controls, manage extensions and set proactive alerts to keep your data and employees protected without slowing down productivity.
The Decision Deck project aims at developing a generic decision aid platform composed of modular "software components". These software components implement the common functionalities of a large range of multiple criteria decision aid methods. This
JEuclid is a complete MathML rendering solution, consisting of: a MathViewer application, command line converters from MathML to other formats, an ant task for autmated conversion, display components for AWT and Swing and a component for Apache Cocoon
swIMP (swig-based Interfaces for Mathematical Programming) provides Java wrappers for solvers written in C or C++. The current focus is on accessing OSI-compatible linear programming (LP) solvers from the Coin-OR-project (e.g. Clp, GLPK, MOSEK, CPLEX).
The aim of this project is to produce a software that will content two modules :
- the first one will allow to conduct simulations of social behavior,
- the second one will be able to produce philosophical considerations.
The version version will be i
A Java library and set of tools to quickly and easily manipulate graphs (set of nodes and edges) and dynamic graphs. The principal trait of this library is its ability to manage (create, edit, layout, display) continuously evolving graphs.
The development of this project now takes place on Github. Visit the official Graphstream website at http://graphstream-project.org

DragMath is a drag and drop equation editor in the form of a Java applet. Once an expression is created the user can convert it into a variety of different linear syntax for mathematics, including MathML, LaTeX, Maple, Maxima or any user defined style.
PLEASE NOTE: active code development has moved to GitHub.

Don't hard-code data-structures for Artificial Intelligence (AI). Evolve them (and control flow) as cycles of arrays in arrays with size constraints based on other array sizes (at specific index) in terms of range, multiply, exponent, or permutation. No working code yet. Whats there now is an extension of GigaLineCompile which would become part of Human AI Net, but there are other projects to finish before I can come back to this one.
A Java library that works with Java3D to simulate and visualize, in real-time, dynamics of multiple rigid bodies that are restricted by implicit and explicit constraints (e.g., robotics); designed for efficiency, ease-of-use, and extensibility.
Simple UI to test the effectiveness of a heuristic algorithm against the brute force method for path finding among an arbitrary number of arbitrarily placed points on a grid. This is an educational project, don't expect new and better methods.
LSGTL means LLX’s Static Graph Template Library which is a light-weighted header-only template library developed mainly for static graph analysis. LSGTL is expected to be used in laboratories for research purposes mostly.
To help math students visualize the prufer code and/or discover anything new about the prufer code not already present. Examples and live applet on webiste.
Software for graphs visualization, encouraging graph algorithms implementation. Aimed at students who want to code their own algorithms and see a graphical representation of it working.
This is a research project. A new modulation method 'Advanced PCC-OFDM' is developed. With this method you can construct a modulation, which is fast decaying in frequency domain, while maintaining spectral efficiency.
Fuzzy logic add-in for OpenOffice.org Calc. InrecoLAN FuzzyMath allows to perform ordinary arithmetic operations and use ordinary mathematical and financial functions with fuzzy numbers. Have any ideas how to improve this project - you are welcome!
