    SEPIA: Security-oriented PN Framework

    Petri net framework for security related modeling and reasoning.

    SEPIA provides implementations for various types of Petri nets. Along Place/Transition-nets, it supports Petri nets with distinguishable token colors and defines coloured workflow nets, where coloured tokens are interpreted as data elements used during process execution. To support information flow analysis of processes, SEPIA defines so-called IF-Nets, tailored for security-oriented workflow modeling which enable users to assign security-levels (HIGH, LOW) to transitions, data elements and persons/agents participating in the process execution. SEPIA builds upon TOVAL (http://sourceforge.net/p/toval), JAGAL (http://sourceforge.net/p/jagal) and SEWOL (https://sourceforge.net/projects/jawl/). To use SEPIA, make sure these libraries are on the build path. SEPIA encloses the Multi Schema Validator (https://msv.java.net/) and isorelax (http://iso-relax.sourceforge.net/) The documentation can be found under http://doku.telematik.uni-freiburg.de/sepia.

Contact the author for more information. +++INTRO+++ STEMCalc IV is a simple, yet powerful, console-programmed calulator written in Java, performing one calculation with two numbers max at a time and other various functions. +++STORY+++ This is the fourth edition of the previously abandoned student project STEMCalcR. The project has never seen the light of day due to various bugs and lack of usability, even after attempts at reviving the project in the forms of STEMCalcR2 and R3Boot editions. Determined, not giving up, me, one of the original co-authors of STEMCalcR, has brought to you STEMCalc IV, the swiss knife of mathematics. I am determined to drive this project further, turning it into a powerful program , more than just your average calculator.

    A Stata plugin for connecting Stata with other software

    SWire is a software interface enabling us to query Stata for the executing of basic operations like reading or writing data. The core of SWire is a Java plugin which functions as a server and it can be queried by using the HTTP protocol. SWire is in essence a wrapper around the Stata-Java API and all the functions relating to this API can, therefore, be externally called by clients. SWire can be interrogated on a local network and it accepts AJAX queries, thus enabling the development of web applications which provide the user with graphical user interfaces. For example, a web application running on a browser can interact with Stata on a local network; this application could be a data entry form or an automatic report. By providing a communication protocol, SWire makes it possible to connect Stata with many other applications for data exchange and basic interaction, thereby extending the capabilities of Stata. SWire requires Stata >=13.

    This Java software includes algorithms of combinatorical optimization for the NP-hard offline ship lock scheduling problem. Solutions and performed computations can be displayed graphically. Besides, there is a framework for generating test instances and running these in parallel, as well as R/JGR code for statistical evaluation. Some tools for estimating the quality of calculated solutions will be further improved. Initially the software was developed within a project of TU Berlin regarding the Kiel Canal.
