Realtime bigdata tool at the bit level based on immutable AVL forest which can be run in memory or, in future versions, as a merkle forest like a blockchain. Main object is a sparse bit string (Bits) that efficiently scales up to 2^63 bits normally compressed as forest has duplicated substrings. Bits objects support reading bit, byte, short, int, or long (Java primitives) at any bit index in 64 bit range. Example: instead of building a class to hold a header and then data, represent all of...

1/3 is not 0.33. Pi is not 3.14. Actually 1/3 is in interval [0.33, 0.34] and pi is in interval [3.14, 3.15]. During computation truncating error is accumulating. At end of computation it is needed to know real boundaries of result. The solution is given by interval arithmetic. Simply speaking, because 1/3 is in interval [0.33, 0.34] and 1/7 is in interval [0.14, 0.15], value 1/3 - 1/7 must be in [0.18, 0.2]. Computation can be arbitrary long and complex but interval arithmetic gives...

Math tools in Python to tackle down problems in Operational Research fields. Comes with a Django based web interface to allow remote access to complex simulation means.

The Advanced Algebraic Language (AAL) is a very dynamic programming language designed to fill the void that has appeared between mainstream languages and algebra. As a result its main focus is ease of use for math problems. To download AAL check out the source code repository. There are versions available for windows and linux with both 32 and 64 bit native binaries: http://svn.code.sf.net/p/aal-lang/code/trunk/bin/

Java Micro Benchmark - control tasks required to determine the comparative performance characteristics of the computer system on different platforms. Can be used to determine the effect of different software on the performance of a computer system.

Don't hard-code data-structures for Artificial Intelligence (AI). Evolve them (and control flow) as cycles of arrays in arrays with size constraints based on other array sizes (at specific index) in terms of range, multiply, exponent, or permutation. No working code yet. Whats there now is an extension of GigaLineCompile which would become part of Human AI Net, but there are other projects to finish before I can come back to this one.

Hier wird die Versionsverwaltung (SVN) für die LaTeX-Mitschrift der Vorlesung "Analysis für Informatiker und Statistiker" gehostet. Diese findet im WS 2009/2010 an der LMU München statt.
