QuadRay engine is a realtime raytracing project aimed at full SIMD utilization on ARM, MIPS, POWER and x86 architectures. The efficient use of SIMD is achieved by processing four rays at a time to match SIMD register width (hence the name). The rendering core of the engine is written in a unified SIMD assembler allowing single assembler code to be compatible with different processor architectures, thus reducing the need to maintain multiple parallel versions. At present, Intel SSE/SSE2/SSE4 and AVX/AVX2/AVX-512 (32/64-bit x86 ISAs), ARMv7 NEON/NEONv2, ARMv8 AArch32 and AArch64 NEON, SVE (32/64-bit ARM ISAs), MIPS 32/64-bit r5/r6 MSA and POWER 32/64-bit VMX/VSX (little/big-endian ISAs) are mostly implemented (/w horizontal reductions) although scalar improvements, wider SIMD vectors with zeroing/merging predicates in 3/4-operand instructions are planned as extensions to current 2/3-operand SPMD-driven vertical SIMD ISA. yaSSL, or yet another SSL, is an embedded ssl library for programmers building security functionality into their applications and devices. yaSSL is highly portable, and runs on standard as well as embedded platforms(QNX, ThreadX, VxWorks, Tron) yaSSL is still available but no longer being developed. Dfilebrowser is a light file manager written in QT (C++ and QML) The goal is to research the way to do a multi-platform file manager using QT. First version was developed in QT using widgets for the UI but this presented some issues when porting to mobile devices because they are focused on QML. The last widget version was 1.1 and worked for desktops, KDE Plasma Active and Wetab tablets. Version 1.2 has been rewritten from the scratch using QML and also QT Quick components and currently works only on Meego Harmattan devices (Nokia N) and N950).

This library is being created as I have a need to do very fast FFTs on low end devices not supporting the NEON instruction set. The Raspberry Pi is an ideal candidate for developing in gcc before porting to JNI for low spec Android devices, hence it's inclusion. Fixed point 16/32 integer FFT library suitable for the Raspberry Pi and Android devices. Includes test stubs for gcc on the Raspberry Pi and a Basic4Android wrapper from JNI. It includes hand optimised ARMv6 assembler, demonstrating techniques such as pipeline stuffing to achieve maximum performance. It also demonstrates how to include large chunks of assembler inline with C/C++ thus avoiding ABI issues between platforms.
