    deepface

    deepface

A Lightweight Face Recognition and Facial Attribute Analysis

...It is a hybrid face recognition framework wrapping state-of-the-art models: VGG-Face, FaceNet, OpenFace, DeepFace, DeepID, ArcFace, Dlib, SFace and GhostFaceNet. Experiments show that human beings have 97.53% accuracy on facial recognition tasks whereas those models already reached and passed that accuracy level.

    FiftyOne

    FiftyOne

The open-source tool for building high-quality datasets

...Use it to get hands-on with your data, including visualizing complex labels, evaluating your models, exploring scenarios of interest, identifying failure modes, finding annotation mistakes, and much more! Surveys show that machine learning engineers spend over half of their time wrangling data, but it doesn't have to be that way.

    OpenVINO Notebooks

    OpenVINO Notebooks

    Jupyter notebook tutorials for OpenVINO

...The tutorials also illustrate how OpenVINO integrates with models from frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and ONNX to accelerate inference workloads. Many notebooks include end-to-end examples that show how to prepare input data, load optimized models, run inference, and visualize results. The project is particularly useful for developers who want to learn how to optimize machine learning inference pipelines for production environments.

Paessler: Easy to Use With Enterprise Power. Free Trial

A low-code dashboard makes monitoring intuitive for any admin, while scripting and custom sensors give experts full control.

You shouldn't have to choose between a monitoring tool that's easy to use and one that's powerful enough for a complex environment. PRTG's low-code interface lets any admin build dashboards, set alerts and monitor devices without scripting, while custom sensors and full API access are there when your team needs deeper control. One platform, no compromise. Download a free 30-day trial now.

    deepjazz

    deepjazz

Deep learning driven jazz generation using Keras & Theano

...The system analyzes musical sequences from an input MIDI file and then generates new musical notes that follow similar stylistic patterns. The project was originally created during a hackathon and was designed to show how neural networks can emulate creative tasks traditionally associated with human musicians. The repository includes preprocessing scripts for preparing MIDI data, training scripts for building the neural network model, and code for generating new compositions.

    Taylorplot_Neptune

Creation of a Taylorplot for several machine learning models

Here we present the lines of code for creating a taylor plot with python to display several machine learning models. We show the solution for displaying 10 models, but the list and number can be changed simply by modifying the sample list.

    hloc

    hloc

Visual localization made easy with hloc

...Just download the datasets and you're reading to go! The notebook pipeline_InLoc.ipynb shows the steps for localizing with InLoc. It's much simpler since a 3D SfM model is not needed. We show in pipeline_SfM.ipynb how to run 3D reconstruction for an unordered set of images. This generates reference poses, and a nice sparse 3D model suitable for localization with the same pipeline as Aachen.

    Age and Gender Estimation

    Age and Gender Estimation

Keras implementation of a CNN network for age and gender estimation

...You can evaluate a trained model on the APPA-REAL (validation) dataset. We pose the age regression problem as a deep classification problem followed by a softmax expected value refinement and show improvements over direct regression training of CNNs. Our proposed method, Deep EXpectation (DEX) of apparent age, first detects the face in the test image and then extracts the CNN predictions from an ensemble of 20 networks on the cropped face.

    TensorFlow Object Counting API

    TensorFlow Object Counting API

The TensorFlow Object Counting API is an open source framework

...You can train TensorFlow models with your own training data to built your own custom object counter system! If you want to learn how to do it, please check one of the sample projects, which cover some of the theory of transfer learning and show how to apply it in useful projects. The development is on progress! The API will be updated soon, the more talented and light-weight API will be available in this repo! Detailed API documentation and sample jupyter notebooks that explain basic usages of API will be added!

    BytePS

    BytePS

A high performance and generic framework for distributed DNN training

...For example, on BERT-large training, BytePS can achieve ~90% scaling efficiency with 256 GPUs (see below), which is much higher than Horovod+NCCL. In certain scenarios, BytePS can double the training speed compared with Horovod+NCCL. We show our experiment on BERT-large training, which is based on GluonNLP toolkit. The model uses mixed precision. We use Tesla V100 32GB GPUs and set batch size equal to 64 per GPU. Each machine has 8 V100 GPUs (32GB memory) with NVLink-enabled. Machines are inter-connected with 100 Gbps RDMA network. This is the same hardware setup you can get on AWS.

    Scikit-plot

    Scikit-plot

An intuitive library to add plotting functionality to scikit-learn

...Gaining insights is simply a lot easier when you're looking at a colored heatmap of a confusion matrix complete with class labels rather than a single-line dump of numbers enclosed in brackets. Besides, if you ever need to present your results to someone (virtually any time anybody hires you to do data science), you show them visualizations, not a bunch of numbers in Excel. That said, there are a number of visualizations that frequently pop up in machine learning. Scikit-plot is a humble attempt to provide aesthetically challenged programmers (such as myself) the opportunity to generate quick and beautiful graphs and plots with as little boilerplate as possible.
