A tool for finding distinguishing terms in corpora and displaying them in an interactive HTML scatter plot. Points corresponding to terms are selectively labeled so that they don't overlap with other labels or points.

This tool uses Random Forest and PAM to cluster observations and to calculate the dissimilarity between observations. It supports on-line prediction of new observations (no need to retrain); and supports datasets that contain both continuous (e.g. CPU load) and categorical (e.g. VM instance type) features. In particular, we use an unsupervised formulation of the Random Forest algorithm to calculate similarities and provide them as input to a clustering algorithm.

...Each version only includes the minimum code needed to perform the functions they were designed for. This way users can start by examining the simplest version of the code and progress forward. This code is intended to be used as an educational tool, or as algorithmic code building blocks.
