    Opacus

    Opacus

Training PyTorch models with differential privacy

Opacus is a library that enables training PyTorch models with differential privacy. It supports training with minimal code changes required on the client, has little impact on training performance, and allows the client to online track the privacy budget expended at any given moment. Vectorized per-sample gradient computation that is 10x faster than micro batching. Supports most types of PyTorch models and can be used with minimal modification to the original neural network. Open source, modular API for differential privacy research. Everyone is welcome to contribute. ML practitioners will find this to be a gentle introduction to training a model with differential privacy as it requires minimal code changes. Differential Privacy researchers will find this easy to experiment and tinker with, allowing them to focus on what matters.

    AIMET

    AIMET

AIMET is a library that provides advanced quantization and compression

Qualcomm Innovation Center (QuIC) is at the forefront of enabling low-power inference at the edge through its pioneering model-efficiency research. QuIC has a mission to help migrate the ecosystem toward fixed-point inference. With this goal, QuIC presents the AI Model Efficiency Toolkit (AIMET) - a library that provides advanced quantization and compression techniques for trained neural network models. AIMET enables neural networks to run more efficiently on fixed-point AI hardware accelerators. Quantized inference is significantly faster than floating point inference. For example, models that we’ve run on the Qualcomm® Hexagon™ DSP rather than on the Qualcomm® Kryo™ CPU have resulted in a 5x to 15x speedup. Plus, an 8-bit model also has a 4x smaller memory footprint relative to a 32-bit model. However, often when quantizing a machine learning model (e.g., from 32-bit floating point to an 8-bit fixed point value), the model accuracy is sacrificed.

    BEVFormer

    BEVFormer

Implementation of BEVFormer, a camera-only framework

3D visual perception tasks, including 3D detection and map segmentation based on multi-camera images, are essential for autonomous driving systems. In this work, we present a new framework termed BEVFormer, which learns unified BEV representations with spatiotemporal transformers to support multiple autonomous driving perception tasks. In a nutshell, BEVFormer exploits both spatial and temporal information by interacting with spatial and temporal space through predefined grid-shaped BEV queries. To aggregate spatial information, we design spatial cross-attention that each BEV query extracts the spatial features from the regions of interest across camera views. For temporal information, we propose temporal self-attention to recurrently fuse the history BEV information. Our approach achieves the new state-of-the-art 56.9\% in terms of NDS metric on the nuScenes \texttt{test} set, which is 9.0 points higher than previous best arts and on par with the performance of LiDAR-based baseline.

    BudgetML

    BudgetML

Deploy a ML inference service on a budget in 10 lines of code

Deploy a ML inference service on a budget in less than 10 lines of code. BudgetML is perfect for practitioners who would like to quickly deploy their models to an endpoint, but not waste a lot of time, money, and effort trying to figure out how to do this end-to-end. We built BudgetML because it's hard to find a simple way to get a model in production fast and cheaply. Deploying from scratch involves learning too many different concepts like SSL certificate generation, Docker, REST, Uvicorn/Gunicorn, backend servers etc., that are simply not within the scope of a typical data scientist. BudgetML is our answer to this challenge. It is supposed to be fast, easy, and developer-friendly. It is by no means meant to be used in a full-fledged production-ready setup. It is simply a means to get a server up and running as fast as possible with the lowest costs possible.

    DIG

    DIG

A library for graph deep learning research

The key difference with current graph deep learning libraries, such as PyTorch Geometric (PyG) and Deep Graph Library (DGL), is that, while PyG and DGL support basic graph deep learning operations, DIG provides a unified testbed for higher level, research-oriented graph deep learning tasks, such as graph generation, self-supervised learning, explainability, 3D graphs, and graph out-of-distribution. If you are working or plan to work on research in graph deep learning, DIG enables you to develop your own methods within our extensible framework, and compare with current baseline methods using common datasets and evaluation metrics without extra efforts. It includes unified implementations of data interfaces, common algorithms, and evaluation metrics for several advanced tasks. Our goal is to enable researchers to easily implement and benchmark algorithms.

    Darts

    Darts

A python library for easy manipulation and forecasting of time series

darts is a Python library for easy manipulation and forecasting of time series. It contains a variety of models, from classics such as ARIMA to deep neural networks. The models can all be used in the same way, using fit() and predict() functions, similar to scikit-learn. The library also makes it easy to backtest models, combine the predictions of several models, and take external data into account. Darts supports both univariate and multivariate time series and models. The ML-based models can be trained on potentially large datasets containing multiple time series, and some of the models offer a rich support for probabilistic forecasting. We recommend to first setup a clean Python environment for your project with at least Python 3.7 using your favorite tool (conda, venv, virtualenv with or without virtualenvwrapper).

    Deepchecks

    Deepchecks

Test Suites for validating ML models & data

Deepchecks is the leading tool for testing and for validating your machine learning models and data, and it enables doing so with minimal effort. Deepchecks accompany you through various validation and testing needs such as verifying your data’s integrity, inspecting its distributions, validating data splits, evaluating your model and comparing between different models. While you’re in the research phase, and want to validate your data, find potential methodological problems, and/or validate your model and evaluate it. To run a specific single check, all you need to do is import it and then to run it with the required (check-dependent) input parameters. More details about the existing checks and the parameters they can receive can be found in our API Reference. An ordered collection of checks, that can have conditions added to them. The Suite enables displaying a concluding report for all of the Checks that ran.

    Django friendly finite state machine

    Django friendly finite state machine

Django friendly finite state machine support

Django-fsm adds simple declarative state management for Django models. If you need parallel task execution, view, and background task code reuse over different flows - check my new project Django-view flow. Instead of adding a state field to a Django model and managing its values by hand, you use FSMField and mark model methods with the transition decorator. These methods could contain side effects of the state change. You may also take a look at the Django-fsm-admin project containing a mixin and template tags to integrate Django-fsm state transitions into the Django admin. FSM really helps to structure the code, especially when a new developer comes to the project. FSM is most effective when you use it for some sequential steps. Transition logging support could be achieved with help of django-fsm-log package.

    Forecasting Best Practices

Time Series Forecasting Best Practices & Examples

Time series forecasting is one of the most important topics in data science. Almost every business needs to predict the future in order to make better decisions and allocate resources more effectively. This repository provides examples and best practice guidelines for building forecasting solutions. The goal of this repository is to build a comprehensive set of tools and examples that leverage recent advances in forecasting algorithms to build solutions and operationalize them. Rather than creating implementations from scratch, we draw from existing state-of-the-art libraries and build additional utilities around processing and featuring the data, optimizing and evaluating models, and scaling up to the cloud. The examples and best practices are provided as Python Jupyter notebooks and R markdown files and a library of utility functions.
