Hot is macOS menu bar application that displays the CPU speed limit

Hot is macOS menu bar application that displays the CPU speed limit due to thermal issues. CPU throttling is a power management technique in computer architecture whereby the frequency of a microprocessor can be automatically adjusted "on the fly" depending on the actual need, to conserve power and reduce the amount of heat generated by the chip.

    Minimal-GPSDO

A GPSDO with superior performance using a few cheap components

...) ● Be self monitoring so the accuracy can be guaranteed without reference to a better standard ● Require no tuning by the user ● Give feedback to the user of the current status ● If it can be done in software, do it in software The initial design consisted of a U-blox NEO-6M GPS receiver with active antenna, a PIC16F1455 microprocessor, a 74HC04 buffer powered by a 5V wall wart. This achieved the criteria. The current design is the same with a more elaborate power supply. It is more stable than the original, and regularly delivers better than 10MHz±1mHz.

MC 6800 Emulator for Teensy 4

6800 Emulator runs on Teensy 4 processor

...Programs written in 6800 assembly can be run in the emulator. It supports two modes of operation, an internal monitor program and a mode that emulates the Heathkit ET3400 (and ET-6800) microprocessor trainers. Motorola released the MC6800 chip in 1974. It was a source of inspiration for the designers of the more popular (and cheaper) 6502 chip that was used in so many home computers of that era. The MC6800 is a big-endian processor (hi byte, lo byte order), unlike so many others from that era (6502, 8080).

    Relay Trainer

A single board computer using an electromechanical CPU

The relay trainer is inspired by the single board microprocessor "trainers" of the 1970s / 1980s, but with a custom 8-bit CPU implemented with 83 electromechanical DPDT relays. As with other recent relay computers, the memory is implemented in semiconductors to keep the relay count low. Microchip PIC microprocessors are used to implement this memory and the front panel user interface.
