    Gen1Recomp

    Gen1Recomp

A native Lua / LÖVE2D recreation of Gen 1 Poke

Gen1Recomp is a native LÖVE2D recreation of Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow written primarily in Lua. It does not emulate a Game Boy or distribute game ROMs, instead decoding data and graphics from a legally supplied canonical US ROM. Imported data is converted into a private cache so later launches do not require the ROM again. The project supports keyboard and controller input, configurable graphics, game speed, saves, and portable storage. Users can choose a faithful ruleset that preserves original Generation I quirks or a cleaner alternative. ...

    hangover

    hangover

Hangover runs simple Win32 applications on arm64 Linux

This is Hangover, a project started by André Zwing and Stefan Dösinger in 2016 that currently can run x86_32 Windows applications on aarch64 Wine. Hangover uses various emulators as DLLs (pick one that suits your needs, e.g. works for you) to only emulate the application you want to run instead of emulating a complete Wine installation. As soon as the application does a Windows/Wine system call, say NtUserCreateWindowEx, it's executed outside the emulator (read non-emulated, fast, native). Even better, everything Unix-related is never emulated. In short, we break out of emulation at the win32 syscall or wine unix call level for performance reasons, which is enabled by the WoW64 support in Wine.

Armeabi-v7a is the modern arch that supports floating point operations, and a multi-threading safe is used on multi-cpu devices. It is also 32-bit. If you are determined to run this on a non-android device then fire up an Android emulator.
