Version 2.0 (2/22/2026) This panel is a recreation of the original PLG150-AN software using CtrlrX. This panel offers VST3 integration with your DAW. Many thanks to Inteyes (Ctrlr) for his FreeEG code, from which I borrowed liberally . This panel can load ANS format files, but at this stage cannot open AN2 files. This panel has only been tested using the Yamaha MU100R as host.

It is not possible to edit the Matrix-1000 on the hardware panel. It was meant as a preset machine - with 800 rom-presets and 200 editable nvram-presets. In fact it is a full featured Oberheim Matrix-6 synth in a 1u rack case. The .syx patch/bank files are compatible but the Matrix-1000 cannot save patch names. That's the only difference. Because of this potential (getting a Matrix-6 out of a Matrix-1000) there are several hardware and software ediors around. This one is my contribution...

...This plugin adds an interactive and visually pleasing UI for selecting what register item to paste or use next. It offers basic syntax highlighting, a preview, and an equally (if not more) efficient experience using Neovim registers. One simply uses " or CtrlR as one would normally, and then enjoys the benefit of seeing the contents of all filled registers without having to use the :reg command beforehand. It essentially removes an annoying step in using Neovim registers (checking where a specific item is, which register you might have used earlier, etc.), and lets you increase your efficiency while also increasing Neovim’s aesthetic.

monstrumWaveXL or (mwaveXL) is a Lua based cross platform application which sends MIDI and sysex data to/from the Waldorf Microwave II/XT/XTk from either standalone mode or as a VST in your favorite DAW. This is not a software emulator of a Waldorf synth, it is an editor for the actual synth thus requires a Waldorf microwave (xt xtk or II) synthesizer.
