An interface that describes a logger
The main goal is to allow libraries to receive a Psr\Log\LoggerInterface object and write logs to it in a simple and universal way. The LoggerInterface exposes eight methods to write logs to the eight RFC 5424 levels (debug, info, notice, warning, error, critical, alert, emergency). Every method accepts a string as the message, or an object with a toString() method. Implementors MAY have special handling for the passed objects. If that is not the case, implementors MUST cast it to a string. Command-Line search tool for syslog files
Lograptor is a search tool for system logs written in legacy BSD syslog format RFC 3164 and for IETF syslog protocol RFC 5424. The program can perform searches in syslog files like as the UNIX command "grep", but with the addition of some filters and parameters, useful to restrict the search field and retrieve the relevant informations from log files. You could specify parameters like hostname, application, date, time range, plus a set of filters on message data. -
