A multi-platform universal log collector and forwarder
NXLog is a modular, multi-threaded, high-performance log management solution with multi-platform support. In concept it is similar to syslog-ng or rsyslog but is not limited to unix/syslog only. It can collect logs from files in various formats, receive logs from the network remotely over UDP, TCP or TLS/SSL . Plinko was originally an experiment with Prefix Trees and log parsing. The general concept is to have a single end point you can send any data to, in a "fire and forget" fashion. Plinko should identify and parse the data completely without the sending system caring what it sent. The latest version supports named fields in the STL files for tagging data parsed in the Prefix Tree and anonymous functions for parsing dynamic message payloads.
