log4py is a logging module for python, similar to log4j

Log4j Viewer is an Eclipse plugin which can read various patterns of log4j's log file and show them in a structured table view which filtering, sorting, searching may apply on.

Log4j mode - a major mode for viewing log files in Emacs - including syntax highlighting, log file filtering, and source code browsing.

Log4Janalyzer is a Log4J socket listener GUI that makes application log tracking simple. It has an intuitive Java Swing user interface and is designed for Log4j users. It offers some statistics (quite a few, any suggestions?).

In this project I will try to create logging analysis tool which will be very simple & can generate variety of report. I get this idea by using InsightUI which is inspired by chainsaw.

LogDown is a Intrusion Protection System (IPS). It scans your Logs for bad Logins etc.. please note: LogDown is now in early BETA!

An application to gather, aggregate, chart and report information originating from any log files. It uses regular expressions that are constructed graphically and can be tested in the application against samples. LogEngine2 is a C++ header only library for easy and flexible logging. Contains small amount of code in compare with other logging libraries. Just copy the files from include folder to your project folder and use a C++20 compiler. LogEngine2 can load loggers from .lfg file. Examples of .lfg files are included into bundle. LogEngine2 provides various log targets: regular files, rotating log files, console logging, string stream, user custom function. Log line format is easy configurable.

Logq - (Syslog Query) is a Syslog reader made with perl.

Loganalyzer for Windows XP Firewall and Linux Iptables firewall. Generates a nice html document with statistics from all the pakets captured by the firewall. The program is written in Python and has an (optional) graphical interface.

Log Searcher provided full indexed search engine for log files on each servers. It supported many powerful query types such as phrase queries, wildcard queries, proximity queries, range queries and more with Lucene and Solr technology. It comes with Web interface to search and generate chart accordingly. This project is Open Source project with Apache 2.0 license for allowing you to extra development on top of Log Searcher project. LogSentinel is a log monitoring and alerting system. It allows for easy definitions of events and alerts and is highly flexible. Its uses range from internet accounting using squid logs to sending instant messages when your system is under attack.

LogShark is a simple log monitor. It can monitor multiple directories, and for each directory a different set of filename patterns can be used. Because LogShark does not lock anything, it does not prohibit removal of the files and/or directories.

Logapp is a wrapper utility that helps supervise the execution of applications that produce heavy console output (e.g. make, CVS and Subversion). It does this by logging, trimming, and coloring each line of the output before displaying it.

Logbook is an extensible Java library to enable complete request and response logging for different client- and server-side technologies. It satisfies a special need by a) allowing web application developers to log any HTTP traffic that an application receives or sends b) in a way that makes it easy to persist and analyze it later. This can be useful for traditional log analysis, meeting audit requirements or investigating individual historic traffic issues. Logbook is ready to use out of the box for most common setups. Even for uncommon applications and technologies, it should be simple to implement the necessary interfaces to connect a library/framework/etc. to it.

Generic log parser written in PHP for *nix systems. Log entries are analysed on the fly and consolidated into events that are similar. Results are then displayed via a webpage.

The approach of this project is to provide a tool to analyse logfiles. You can specify rules for the extraction of information from any text files and display and browse them in a swing-based GUI.

This module has been written to parse *Radius Accounting* detail files. I only have copies of those generated by the *Ascend* Radius server, so I don't know if it is compatible with other Radius versions.
