whisper.cpp is a lightweight, C/C++ reimplementation of OpenAI’s Whisper automatic speech recognition (ASR) model—designed for efficient, standalone transcription without external dependencies. The entire high-level implementation of the model is contained in whisper.h and whisper.cpp. The rest of the code is part of the ggml machine learning library. The command downloads the base.en model converted to custom ggml format and runs the inference on all .wav samples in the folder samples. whisper.cpp supports integer quantization of the Whisper ggml models. Quantized models require less memory and disk space and depending on the hardware can be processed more efficiently.

ncnn is a high-performance neural network inference computing framework designed specifically for mobile platforms. It brings artificial intelligence right at your fingertips with no third-party dependencies, and speeds faster than all other known open source frameworks for mobile phone cpu. ncnn allows developers to easily deploy deep learning algorithm models to the mobile platform and create intelligent APPs. It is cross-platform and supports most commonly used CNN networks, including Classical CNN (VGG AlexNet GoogleNet Inception), Face Detection (MTCNN RetinaFace), Segmentation (FCN PSPNet UNet YOLACT), and more. ncnn is currently being used in a number of Tencent applications, namely: QQ, Qzone, WeChat, and Pitu.

RWKV (pronounced as RwaKuv) is an RNN with GPT-level LLM performance, which can also be directly trained like a GPT transformer (parallelizable). So it's combining the best of RNN and transformer - great performance, fast inference, fast training, saves VRAM, "infinite" ctxlen, and free text embedding. Moreover it's 100% attention-free. Default configs has enabled custom CUDA kernel acceleration, which is much faster and consumes much less VRAM. If you encounter possible compatibility issues, go to the Configs page and turn off Use Custom CUDA kernel to Accelerate.

Mobile AI Compute Engine (or MACE for short) is a deep learning inference framework optimized for mobile heterogeneous computing on Android, iOS, Linux and Windows devices. Runtime is optimized with NEON, OpenCL and Hexagon, and Winograd algorithm is introduced to speed up convolution operations. The initialization is also optimized to be faster. Chip-dependent power options like big.LITTLE scheduling, Adreno GPU hints are included as advanced APIs. UI responsiveness guarantee is sometimes obligatory when running a model. Mechanism like automatically breaking OpenCL kernel into small units is introduced to allow better preemption for the UI rendering task. Graph level memory allocation optimization and buffer reuse are supported. The core library tries to keep minimum external dependencies to keep the library footprint small.

MNN is a highly efficient and lightweight deep learning framework. It supports inference and training of deep learning models, and has industry leading performance for inference and training on-device. At present, MNN has been integrated in more than 20 apps of Alibaba Inc, such as Taobao, Tmall, Youku, Dingtalk, Xianyu and etc., covering more than 70 usage scenarios such as live broadcast, short video capture, search recommendation, product searching by image, interactive marketing, equity distribution, security risk control. In addition, MNN is also used on embedded devices, such as IoT. MNN Workbench could be downloaded from MNN's homepage, which provides pretrained models, visualized training tools, and one-click deployment of models to devices. KotlinDL is a high-level Deep Learning API written in Kotlin and inspired by Keras. Under the hood, it uses TensorFlow Java API and ONNX Runtime API for Java. It also has many outstanding advantages such as cross-platform, high performance, model compression, and code tailoring. The TNN framework further strengthens the support and performance optimization of mobile devices on the basis of the original Rapidnet and ncnn frameworks. At the same time, it refers to the high performance and good scalability characteristics of the industry's mainstream open source frameworks, and expands the support for X86 and NV GPUs. On the mobile phone, TNN has been used by many applications such as mobile QQ, weishi, and Pitu. As a basic acceleration framework for Tencent Cloud AI, TNN has provided acceleration support for the implementation of many businesses.
