For example, from a pcap file Xplico extracts each email (POP, IMAP, and SMTP protocols), all HTTP contents, each VoIP call (SIP, MGCP, MEGACO, RTP), IRC, WhatsApp... The ASN.1 Compiler

This ASN.1 compiler turns ASN.1 specifications into C code. The asn1c is shipped together with conformant BER/DER/XER/PER codecs. The goal of 'mgsim' project is making an emulator of media gateway using MEGACO. It can be used to test switch system.

MEGACO/H.248 parser and builder. It is written in ANSI C so it's quite portable. Parser is written using flex(2.5.31)/bison(1.875d). It's reentrant so it's thread save.
