    In Java, when making an HTTPS connection, people generally encounter the following exception stack trace: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target This happens because the appropriate CA certificates are not present in the trust store. In cases of a HTTP Proxy that utilizes SSL, it becomes even more frustrating to debug such exception.
