    Flat Surface Shader

    Flat Surface Shader

Flat Surface Shader for rendering illuminated triangles

Flat Surface Shader is a lightweight JavaScript rendering library for creating illuminated low-poly triangle surfaces. It models scenes with meshes, materials, lights, geometry, and renderers. Lighting is calculated with a Lambertian reflectance model using triangle normals, centroids, ambient color, and diffuse color. The same scene can be rendered through WebGL, Canvas 2D, or SVG backends. Developers can construct planes, deform vertices, move lights, and animate scenes to produce dynamic faceted visuals. ...

Framework for Agent-oriented MOdelling and Simulation

Famos is a Java-based framework for developing agent-based models. It uses the discrete-event simulation framework Desmo-J (http://desmoj.sourceforge.net) as its simulation engine. Famos implements event-driven time advance and focusses on supporting an explicit model of space for the environment, including the movement of agents. Famos was developed in the context of a PhD project. Many aspects of its implementation are therefore still in the prototype stage. ...

It is a C# program that runs a simulation of a predator-prey model for foxes and rabbits. The assumptions in setting up such a model are: 1.The rabbit population tends to exhibit exponential growth unless it is held in check by a predator or overcrowding. 2.Foxes eat rabbits at a rate proportional to the number of encounters between foxes and rabbits. 3.Fox growth rate is determined by the amount of rabbits they eat (foxes tend to reproduce faster if they are well fed) and their physiological efficiency of converting energy gained by ingestion of prey to reproduction (simply put: the efficiency of converting eaten rabbits into new baby foxes). 4.Fox mortality is determined by natural death processes.

MGEScan is a suite of two software tools MGEScan-LTR and MGEScan-non-LTR. MGEScan-LTR is a software that can identify new LTR retrotransposons without relying on a library of known elements. It uses approximate string matching technique and protein domain analysis to detect intact LTR retrotransposons. In addition, it identifies partially deleted or solo LTRs using profile Hidden Markov Models (pHMMs). MGEScan-non-LTR is a software for the identification of non-LTR retrotransposons in genomic sequences, following a computational approach inspired by a generalized hidden Markov model (GHMM). ...

    Grid3D Toolbox

    Grid3D Toolbox

3D grid toolbox for analysis of molecular simulations

"Grid3D Toolbox" is a set of command line tools for visualization and analysis of the results of molecular simulations based on 3-dimensional density maps (grids). Currently, the tools only work with the simulation trajectories generated by the GROMACS simulation package (http://www.gromacs.org/). The generated density maps are saved in the Grid3D native .g3d format and can be visualized using a third party data visualization software. A converter from the .g3d format to .vti, an XML based format of the VTK library is provided with the "Grid3D Toolbox", so that the generated density maps can be visualized using the ParaView data analysis and visualization software (http://www.paraview.org). ...

    JBernstein

    JBernstein

JBernstein: Exploration techniques for non-linear constraint checking

JBernstein is a tool implemented in Java that enables to check whether a polynomial constraint holds for all variables within their domain. It is mainly used in the verification or synthesis of cyber-physical systems where the system model is nonlinear. The tool also supports specifications in assume-guarantee style. The underlying algorithm is based on a translation to Bernstein polynomials, and several optimization techniques are implemented to ensure efficiency. Concerning performance,...

    span

    A Software Power Analyzer

...Since the diversity of applications, we use different techniques to generate fine-grained power profile for applications. On the other hand, we developed a light-weighted library, Safari( http://sourceforge.net/projects/mistsafari ) which is the original SPAN function APIs to profile an application. SPAN uses IPC as model input and generate power profile for the insrumented functions, e.g. to instrument the benchmark of IS in NPB benchmark suite, first, SPAN_initialize() is invoked. Then, use SPAN_start("function_name") right before the function entrance. ...

    Offroad

    Offroad

Vehicle simulation with freedom of movement on large map (5x5km).

Simple Linux game inspired by Terep2 and 1nsane written in C++ using SDL library based on my own physics engine (spring systems and rigid body dynamic simulation). Offroad Engine was part of my bachelor thesis at Czech Technical University in year 2006. This is updated version from 2008 with improved graphics and sounds. Game map was originally imported from OpenTTD (that's why roads are so perpendicular) but now I decided to start working on this project again and to add support for maps from my World Editor app: https://www.youtube.com/watch?...

    SIMtoEXP

For comparison of simulation and experimental scattering data

SIMulation to EXPeriment is software that allows the direct comparison of simulation density information with that obtained from X-ray and neutron scattering experiments, by converting the simulation data to form factors. It also calculates volume probability distributions according to a space filling volumetric model. Written in C++ and Qt, SIMtoEXP has a very simple and easy to use GUI with interactive plotting.
