...One way to use the IWD algorithm is to map our optimization problem into a graph over which Intelligent Water Drops (IWDs) travel from node to node to gradually create complete solutions. During this trip, the soli of the graph deposited on the links of the graph are changed and little by little the optimal paths will hold less soil in comparison to other possible paths. It is also possible to solve continuous optimization problems by the IWD algorithm. One attempt is the IWD-CO (IWD for Continuous Optimization) In this project, the focus is to gradually present implemented IWD-based algorithms. -

Colour lines in syslog-ng logs according to severity
...The program inserts ANSI escape sequences to colour log lines according to their severity. This means the colouring works when viewed on a terminal or using programs such as "less" or "more". You have to customize syslog-ng to include severity as the first character in each logged line, and to pipe the logged messages through the logcolourer program. You can use the program to colour any file according to digits in the first character of each line. logcolourer can also process lines from the linux kernel, though these normally get routed via syslog-ng anyway. -

...I updated this, with a different hash than original, since I found a potential collision on some blocks, not but specific to that challenge. To further correct this, I modified the padding when it's less than the block size. I hold no guarantee of the security of this algorithm, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. I have had no 3rd party analysis done on the algorithm to date, but research is welcome, and a challenge is even provided in CHALLENGE.txt. -

The application sorts the files by their image type: Bias, Dark, Flat, and Object. The Flat and Object images are sorted by filters U, B, V, R, and I. The application allows the user to create and save a profile of a given observatory's FITS header format, for future sorting use. This application also provides a header viewer for FITS image file. -
