In the project that instigated this work the mapping between the DAOs and the XML DOM was not one for one and encoding the conversion into the DOAs was not a good idea. While at first sight this may seem similar to dozer (http://dozer.sourceforge.net) the primary difference is that this is code generation and does not have the overhead of using introspection at run time. -

In applications such as audio denoising, music transcription, music remixing, and audio-based forensics, it is desirable to decompose a single-channel recording into its respective sources. To perform such tasks, we present a new software tool to perform source separation by painting on time-frequency visualizations of sound. Initial results shows the software can achieve state-of-the-art separation results compared to prior work. -

...Mubuntu 1.0 was created using remastersys, however, the GIT repo has the Live FS in it, for further improvement and recompiling. My intention at this point is to base my future releases around the LTS versions of Ubuntu as the ammount of work required to reconfigure the OS with MATE takes a lot of time to do. Im not sure at this point if i want to make Mubuntu into an Official for like kubuntu/lubuntu etc... only time will tell, but at this point im planning to base my version numbers independant of ubuntu's (so not base around like 12.04, 12.10 etc) like the linux mint project. ... -

AccessXBase3 is a database built on the DBASEIII platform
I started with DBASE III for dos, and moved the project into VB6. I realize it needs to move from there, but all the simple data types are covered, it can do MEMO fields but that needs a little work to actually write them, but the plan was to create a modern implementation. I have source files on that level. I was side tracked at the time so I've not gotten that far on my own, but the DLL is able to read and write the files, I've written code that will allow for marcos and I'd like to see DBASEIII format take over. I wasn't thrilled with the other db out there and was able to emulate the ADO way of doing things so far. -

My Basic Facts Quiz is software written by two school students for primary (elementary) school students to practise maths basic facts questions on. The software asks the user what numbers the questions should include and how many questions to attempt at a time; then randomly generates quizzes full of questions with those parameters. The software gives the student feedback once they have completed the quiz they are given, including the percentage correct. Students can also choose a type or types of questions to do - useful for them to work on their weak spots at home. A teacher interface is included that will display a link on the screen ready to be copied and pasted where it needs to go to get to the students - or just displayed on an interactive whiteboard. ... -
