Protocol Buffers for Go with Gadgets

gogoprotobuf is a fork of golang/protobuf with extra code generation features. With this new release comes a new internal library version. This means any newly generated *pb.go files generated with the v1.3.0 library will not be compatible with the old library version (v1.2.1). However, current *pb.go files (generated with v1.2.1) should still work with the new library. Please make sure you manage your dependencies correctly when upgrading your project. If you are still using v1.2.1 and you...

    benchm-ml

    benchm-ml

A benchmark of commonly used open source implementations

This repository is designed to provide a minimal benchmark framework comparing commonly used machine learning libraries in terms of scalability, speed, and classification accuracy. The focus is on binary classification tasks without missing data, where inputs can be numeric or categorical (after one-hot encoding). It targets large scale settings by varying the number of observations (n) up to millions and the number of features (after expansion) to about a thousand, to stress test different implementations. ...

    HOBBIT Java SDK Example

    HOBBIT Java SDK Example

Integrate your benchmarks and systems into the HOBBIT platform

...This repository contains all types of HOBBIT-compatible components and number of tests, required to debug components locally without having a running instance of the platform. The repository may be cloned and used as a HOBBIT-compatible basis for the future project (benchmark or system). The tests allow developers to debug components either as pure java codes or packaged into docker containers. Fully tested docker images may be uploaded and executed in the online platform without any modifications. Please find the basic benchmark component implementations in the sources folder. You may extend the components with logic of your benchmark and debug the components as pure java codes by running the make test-benchmark command or execute checkHealth() method from ExampleBenchmarkTest) in IDE. ...

    test-tlb

    test-tlb

Stupid memory latency and TLB tester

test-tlb is a tiny C microbenchmark that explores the performance characteristics of memory access patterns with respect to the CPU’s Translation Lookaside Buffer (TLB) and caches. It walks arrays using different strides and working-set sizes so you can observe when access patterns overflow cache or TLB capacity. By timing tight loops and varying parameters, the program reveals step-changes in latency that map to cache lines, page sizes, and TLB coverage. It is intentionally minimal so you...

    Database Benchmark
The project is moved to GitHub: https://github.com/STSSoft/DatabaseBenchmark. We will continue to upload the source and binaries here, but the code repository will be innactive. Database Benchmark is one of the most powerfull open source tools designed to stress test database management systems with large data flows. The application performs two main test scenarios: - Insertion of large amount of randomly generated records with sequential or random keys; - Read of the inserted records, ordered by their keys. Database Benchmark can be used as an additional viewpoint when the research engineers or software architects asses the appropriate background storage engine for their mission critical systems. ...

    GLProbs

    GLProbs: Aligning multiple sequences adaptively

GLProbs is a simple and effective approach to improve the accuracy of multiple sequence alignment. We use a natural measure to estimate the similarity of the input sequences, and based on this measure, we align the input sequences differently. To test the effectiveness of this approach, we have implemented a multiple sequence alignment tool called GLProbs and compared its performance with a dozen leading alignment tools on three benchmark alignment databases, and GLProbs’s alignments has the best scores in almost all testings. We have also evaluated the practicability of the alignments of GLProbs by applying the tool to three biological applications, namely phylogenetic trees construction, protein secondary structure prediction and the detection of high risk members for cervical cancer in the HPV-E6 family, and the results are very encouraging.
