pysnmpfs is an extensible user-space filesystem engine written in Python to provide access to SNMP data in the same fashion as sysfs or procfs. The purpose of this program is to monitor the state of an ADSL or VDSL2 connection. It works with DSL routers using Broadcom chipsets, which have a fully functional telnet interface with access to the Broadcom CLI. It also supports some Thomson/Technicolor routers via their custom CLI, but some of the features of the program are not available for these models. All of the data is obtained from the CLI via telnet. Data is displayed in graphical form, and also can be seen in raw telnet CLI format. -

WhoisUP v0.3 monitors hosts via ICMP and shows the status in a web page. When a host is down, the script can send mail, syslog message, open a popup message or play a sound.
