test_gui is a modular tool for pnCCD data handling. It uses IDL type files (later 'frame' files). It plots and calculates different parameters related to XRF and XRD. A series of modules are attached for fitting and visualization. Test version 1 of this tool will be updated based on users needs. -

...mesicat accepts a .mesi file (Meta ESI) containing a description of the EtherCAT CoE dictionary and other stack configuration information. Make commands in this file then trigger the creation of sane defaults, SII EEPROM, XML files, and so forth. The .mesi file is inspired by the various IDL files used in web space (e.g. protobuf) and uses a C-like syntax to reduce cognitive overhead when developing slave code. The goal is to automate EtherCAT compliance to the extent practicable and provide a DRY (don't repeat yourself) automated build for the required files. Linux IDE for the IDL language
The IDE for ITTVIS's IDL (aka IDLDE) works very poorly on Linux, and besides, it wasn't open-source enough! So I made a Qt-based editor in Python that works reasonably well. It calls IDL library functions directly and embeds it in the graphical interface just like the original IDE. It was not easy to get that working at all, so expect bugs. It provides instant help by pressing the F1 key and auto-completion by pressing Ctrl+Space and a bunch of other stuff. -
