    Vince's CSV Parser

    Vince's CSV Parser

A modern C++ library for reading, writing, and analyzing CSV

There's plenty of other CSV parsers in the wild, but I had a hard time finding what I wanted. Inspired by Python's csv module, I wanted a library with simple, intuitive syntax. Furthermore, I wanted support for special use cases such as calculating statistics on very large files. With the deluge of large datasets available, a performant CSV parser is a necessity. By using overlapped threads, memory-mapped IO, and efficient data structures, this parser can quickly tackle large CSV files....

    critique

    critique

    TUI for reviewing git changes

...It supports viewing diff ranges across commits, staged versus unstaged changes, and even comparisons between branches, turning the diff output into a more interactive, readable experience than traditional git diff. Critique is built with a terminal UI foundation and can also generate a web preview of diffs by converting ANSI escape codes into styled HTML, which can be shared temporarily via a cloud worker for collaborative review.

    Click

    Click

Python composable command line interface toolkit

...Click in three points, arbitrary nesting of commands, automatic help page generation, supports lazy loading of subcommands at runtime. Comes with useful common helpers (getting terminal dimensions, ANSI colors, fetching direct keyboard input, screen clearing, finding config paths, launching apps and editors, etc.). Click actually implements its own parsing of arguments and does not use optparse or argparse following the optparse parsing behavior. Click is designed to be fun and customizable but not overly flexible.

    Linenoise

    Linenoise

A small self-contained alternative to readline and libedit

...It supports basic editing features: moving the cursor, inserting characters, handling history, tab-completion, and hints, plus a multiplexing mode where the prompt can be hidden/restored when asynchronous output appears. It works on most VT100/ANSI-compatible terminals, and is portable across Unix-like systems. The code is compact (around 850 lines excluding comments) and designed for minimal footprint embedding into other projects (like CLI tools) that need line editing but don’t want the complexity of linking large libraries.

    Powerline Go

    Powerline Go

A beautiful and useful low-latency prompt for your shell

...When the local branch differs from the remote, the difference in number of commits is shown along with ⇡ or ⇣ indicating whether a git push or pull is pending. powerline-go uses ANSI color codes, these should nowadays work everywhere, but you may have to set your $TERM to xterm-256color for it to work. If you want to use the "patched" mode (which is the default and provides improved UI), you'll need to install a powerline font, either as fallback, or by patching the font you use for your terminal. Alternatively, you can use "compatible" or "flat" mode. ...

Currently, it generates 16-bit and 32-bit 80386+ assembly code for NASM that can then be assembled and linked into DOS, Windows, Linux and Mac OS X programs. (You may use YASM or FASM instead of NASM) Code generation for MIPS CPUs is also supported (primarily for RetroBSD). The compiler is capable of compiling itself. ...

    eights

    ANSI terminal card patience.

...I think it is one of the best: it can come out half the time if you take every opportunity to order the cards in sequences, and it can seem impossible but come out when the last card is dealt. Ther toolset supports ANSI-art patiences in terminals with mouse and keyboard input. It works on MacOS, Linux, and the WSL Bash shell in Windows. I added 'blueMoon' and 'squiggles' patiences to extend the toolset in cardTools.cpp. 'blueMoon' uses a 2D array of sites with suits running horizontally. 'squiggles' uses columns with mixed face up and face down cards.
