In the tutorial there is a description of how to transform simple PDF-pages to graphic Perl objects with the help of programs based on this module. The module is fairly fast, so it should be possible to used it for mass production. -

Requires .NET Framework 4.0 Note: Do NOT use the code in this project as any kind of a tutorial on how to write an application, WPF or otherwise. It's basically a pile of spaghetti. The only reason I posted it at all is because I really liked the way the cards turned out and thought someone else might also get some use out of it.

This page contains the necessary software to characterize mappability of RNA-Seq reads and create a "blacklist" of genomic positions of mismapped reads. This blacklist can be used to filter potential false positives from variant or RNA editing calls. This software is described in "BlackOPs: Increasing Confidence in Variant Detection through Mappability Filtering" by CR Cabanski et al. The classes are useful as training examples for a C+++ tutorial, for novices in C++, or if you have to avoid the standard C++ library with its classes std::string and std::vector class for any reason. It contains basic functionality compatible with the std:: versions, more functions can easily be added. Class my_string is based on original work by Christian Stigen Larsen, 2007.
