The goal of spacesim is simulation of a battles in free space. Unlike other such games, spacesim models management of the ship from the point of view of the captain, instead of the pilot. It allows management of the ship of several players at one time.

AntTweakBar is a small and easy to use C/C++ library that allows programmers to quickly add a light and intuitive GUI into OpenGL or DirectX based programs to interactively tweak parameters on-screen. AntTweakBar works with Linux, Windows and OSX, and can be easily integrated with custom windowing system or with existing toolkits. Examples of integration with GLFW, SDL, GLUT, SFML and DirectX are provided. The AntTweakBar library mainly targets graphical applications that need a quick way to tune parameters (even in fullscreen mode) and see the result in real-time like 3D demos, games, prototypes, inline editors, debug facilities of weightier graphical applications, etc. The project is not maintained anymore but feel free to download and modify the source code to fit your needs or fix issues.

Show stellar evolution and open clusters in a color-magnitude diagram
This program is centered on a graphical Hertzsprung-Russell or color-magnitude diagram (CMD). It can show animated evolutionary tracks of stars of different masses, for a single star or a population of stars. In addition, it can show the CMD of a large number of existing open clusters, based on scientific survey data, and overlay isochrones (the curve in a CMD from stars born at the same time) to determine the age, distance and interstellar reddening of the cluster. Determining these parameters can be done automatically with a global search algorithm (more specifically a genetic algorithm). This program requires the installation of the libfgen package, also available on SourceForge.
