Fast OS for hacking
One of the worst possible derivatives of Ubuntu for GUI lovers.
XDA people: This is my first large-scale project EVER. Please be nice. ANDROIDER is a derivative of Ubuntu. I took the Ubuntu Mini Remix, stripped it to bare bones, then added an uber basic window manager, an ancient login manager, a wireless manager and browser that only run in the command line, and the prerequisites needed to build the AOSP. It limps along, has configuration errors and bugs up the wahazoo still, and wants to die at every turn. Oh, and the partition manager is command line only as well. Depending on the version you download, it can build either FroYo and older, or Gingerbread and newer. You won't need to download Repo either. As I figure everything out, I'll be adding help documents and such. Don't expect much fast, though. Note: I will put updates on the blog, where I should have been putting them all along. A minimal CSPRNG reflecting the Zen of cipher design
AUM is an extremely fast, small-state, cryptographically secure pseudo-random number generator and stream cipher. AUM exhibits uniform distribution, mixes rapidly, has no detected bias, and comes in three variants: AUM16, with an internal state array of 16+4 32-bit words; AUM32, with an internal state of 32+4 words; and AUM64 with a 64+4-word state. The former permit seeding with a key of up to 512 or 1024 bits, the latter with a 2048-bit key.

My customized linux live spin using 'Awesome' the Window Manager (WM)
My customized linux live spin using 'Awesome' the Window Manager (WM) If you are not familiar with the AwesomeWM you might have troubles using this LiveOS, unless you are experienced with Linux in general. If you are looking for a Windows (Microsoft TM) or iOS (Apple TM) alternative, this Linux spin is NOT for you! As the linux base system i'm using Fedora, which i found to work best for the hardware i have. This project is in no way related with Fedora. The install icon is to be found in '$HOME/notepad' This is highly customized to my very personal liking. * As less GUI as possible * Console for everything * No bling bling but my scripts * LUA hardcoded applications menu Introducing my stuff: * Text User Interface: https://github.com/sri-arjuna/tui * Sutra: Random sutras from the Vedics (german) * Several small scripts Based on: * Fedora: http://www.fedoraproject.org * AwesomeWM: http://awesome.naquadah.org/download/ * RPMFusion: http://rpmfusion.org
Customized Openbox Desktop Environment on Ubuntu
Welcome to AwlsomeBuntu, the beginning of a project to create an Ubuntu Distribution with a lightweight, customized Openbox Desktop Environment, but with enough punch to act as a normal environment on ANY computer. The lightweight of it allows it to be put of devices such as Netbooks (2010) or old Workstations.
A family of FLEA-inspired CSPRNGs and Stream Ciphers
BEDBUG is a small, fast, cryptographically secure pseudo-random number generator (CSPRNG) and stream cipher. It exhibits uniform distribution, mixes rapidly (with worst-case avalanche better than 16-bits), has no detected bias, and comes in three variants: BEDBUG128, with an internal state array of 128+3 32-bit words; BEDBUG256, with an internal state of 256+3 words; and BEDBUG512 with a 512+3-word state. The former permit seeding with a key of up to 4096 or 8192 bits, the latter with a 16384-bit key. The BEDBUG generator itself is a mere 5 lines of code: Three rotations; two pseudo-random lookups. The default BEDBUG configuration alternates the rotation constants unpredictably. These four sets of three values differ between BEDBUG128, BEDBUG256 and BEDBUG512 and were selected, tuned and tested in each case for optimal avalanche, which is never less than 16.5 bits. BEDBUG has passed stringent industry-standard tests for randomness, including NIST and DIEHARD.

Simple Bash password manager using GPG and SQLite
Bash Password Manager (BPass) is a shell script that create a SQLite database in which you can store your passwords with the maximum security! Please note that this project is in beta version so please use it only for testing purpose! I've tested this script on: - Ubuntu 11.10 x32/x64 - Ubuntu 12.04 x32/x64 - ArchLinux i686/x64 So please feel free to open tickets or mail me for everything :)
Music auto-arranger follows your chord changes live and plays along
BackupBand is a music auto-arranger. It has a virtual drummer, bassist, and rhythm guitarist. These 3 "musicians" follow your chord changes live (as you play some MIDI instrument, such as a keyboard) and they play along with you in perfect time. It's like having a live rhythm section backing you up. The rhythm section knows how to play in 60 different styles such as Rock, Disco, HipHop, Heavy Metal, Reggae, Swing, various latin styles, etc. You can also create your own styles for them to play. The bassist plays a rickenbacker, fender precision, synth, and double (acoustic) bass. The guitarist plays a les paul, steel string, and nylon string. The drummer plays 6 kits. You can also create your own multi-sampled guitars, basses, and kits for them to play.
