  • CBRIEF for JED

BRIEF v3.1 Emulation and Patches For JED

JED (http://jedsoft.org/jed/) is a text editor by John E. Davis. It is an ancient emacs clone but has very good engine and uses SLang instead of Lisp. BRIEF was a powerful programmers text editor released first by Underwear (1986-1988) and later (1991/1992) by Borland. This project is a BRIEF v3.1 Emulation (with patches) For JED. The original CBRIEF manual can be found at archive.org: https://archive.org/details/bitsavers_borlandBRIon3.1UsersGuide1992_9311365 I was always used BRIEF compatible editors. When I moved to linux, first I patched jove (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JOVE), jove did the work for long time but jove does not support UTF8, so the last few years I use JED. I suggest to see this project before continue http://grief.sourceforge.net It should work on windows too, but I have no windows any more and I cant support it. A gpg-based password manager with ncurses interface

Keys is a little, but enough powerful, password manager for linux systems with a 'fancy' ncurses interface. It base its security around strong GPG tecnology. Keys is merely a bash script that used internal bash commands and externals ones. Keys permits to store securely your password and credentials in gpg's encrypted files, structured in a multi-level tree. With Xdotool you can also use auto-typing, a must-have feature for this kind of software. Keys currently can open (with autotyping) these types of connections: - Open a website and logon with the provided credentials - Open an ssh/sftp connection with the provided credentials - Open an rdesktop connection with the provided credentials Also, Keys can store generic Account credentials (aka. username+password). Keys refers to every single encrypted file containing credentials as a 'DB key' (key database). Every 'DB key' can be open and view with standard gpg decrypting commands.

Ham ARM Linux - Digital operations mainly focused on AX.25 using packet modems. This project is about making the ARM single board computers come to life for Ham Radio in a controlled and structured way, so operators can learn the ins and outs of packet radio. There will be an image for each supported board, and a set of shell scripts to help the user to configure their system simply and properly. HAL hopes to cut out the days of circular searching on the internet for how to get a simple packet system running! Initial offering will result in a fully functional one or two radio AX.25 packet system, and optionally a Net/ROM port, Uronode, AxMailFax, and the venerable FBB BBS system, all supported by the Direwolf sound modem software. Later APRS support and application choices will also be added.
