To be used for the Bear 100 Race: see http://www.bear100.com/
Tracks runner's in/out time at each aid station. Saves data in CSV file. Can be configured for other races. AidStations.txt in repository contains the 15 or so Aid Stations used for the Bear100. The Bear100 is an annual 100 mile, 2 day race on foot through the Rocky Mountains in North America. Will communicate via serial over a 1200 baud AX.25 link to a ARES/Data backend (which we call NetControl). Can initialize some hardware TNCs with parameters optimal for ARES/Data topology. See ARES paper for topology/backend: http://www.tapr.org/pub_cnc07.html All Aid Stations are expected to use same frequency concurrently, and optionally send queries to Net Control. Note backend will support more frequencies if more radios were hooked up. Expected that subset of stations will use software. Remainder will communicate runner data via voice to NetControl.

BizGEO is an open source platform developed to provide a simple interface for geographical data collection and data storage. BizGEO is integrated with a standard open source map server (GeoServer) to form an integrated GIS data collection suite. BizGEO is made up of three main components; BizGEOServer which is a facility for managing data by organising them in projects; BizGEOApp, a mobile app which is being used by the field users to collect data through set of defined forms, and GeoServer which manages and publishes the data using open standards.

Multi-Engine SQL Query Executor
Query Executor by Bringer Specialized Software Group has been specifically designed to manage and visualize large databases. The tool allows the user to select between different SQL engines (currently: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Derby and Microsoft's SQL Server) to be use for query execution. Once the user has specified the server he'll connect to, the databases, tables and views found at the server will be displayed as a three, allowng the user to execute SQL compliant queries on any of them, and later filter and customize the resulting table.

Open Source Housing System for UK RSLs
Charon Housing is an Open Source Housing system was written to work as an application under the Charon Environment and is aimed at UK RSLs (LA/HA/ALMO). The Charon Housing System makes use of the Charon Application Environment which is covered elsewhere. Charon Housing's two key features are: It is designed to be ultra-scalable, so can handle thousands of concurrent users and that it is a fully multi-authority system. This second feature is required by organizations that manage the housing requirements for client RSLs. There is no other system that I know of that has these features built in from the design stage. Next demo was scheduled for January 2014, yet here we are a year later and still no release. This is because of changes in personal circumstances of the team members. The project is still being work on but at a much slower rate.

IT research and therapy in one piece.
The "Computer as Therapy" (iCT) project was founded in 2012 by J. Fiala inspired by iSEN.cz team, consequently it continues in coop. e.g. with Brno University of Technology (BUT) and with Red Hat support. Computer as Therapy is human computer interaction (HCI) research and therapy in one piece. We have pointed out that there are many uncovered SW/HW usability and accessibility issues even on existing apps. Hence we have proposed the SW/HW design principles (called iCT design principles) which defines how the HW/SW should be designed, developed and deployed, used to bring maximal outcome in education and therapy for mentally challenged. At this project page we present sources of developed apps according to iCT design principles. Apps are developed continuously by team members under the supervision of J. Fiala. New versions of iCT Framework and apps are added continuously at our new subproject tab (iCT-Framework v2 and its SEN apps) which is also called OPEN SEN PLATFORM.
