Develop parallel programs. Try various thread configs. GUI front-end.
Avian Computing seeks to efficiently create parallel programs by changing how we think about parallel programs. Avian Computing discourages thinking about lines of code and encourages us to use a new model: flocks of birds. Changing the model to flocks of birds makes it easier to think about the actions that we want to perform concurrently, which leads to simpler and quicker development of working parallel programs. Avian Computing concepts are implemented by the Concurrency Explorer (ConcX) that simplifies parallel programming by providing a GUI frontend to setup, start, and monitor each bird (thread) in the program. ConcX allows you to start or stop one bird (thread) or the whole flock. The birds in the flock are loosely coupled & cooperate to accomplish your goal. ConcX offers many built-in info resources, such as by-thread logging, real-time display of individual thread activity, post mortem diagnostic information, saving of flock setups, parallel database access and more.

Combinatorial Interaction Testing Laboratory
Although the research community around combinatorial interaction testing has been very active for several years, it has failed to find common solutions on some issues. First of all, there is not a common abstract nor concrete language to express combinatorial problems. Combinatorial testing generator tools are strongly decoupled making difficult their interoperability and the exchange of models and data. In this project, we propose an abstract and concrete specific language for combinatorial problems. It features and formally defines the concepts of parameters and types, constraints, seeds, and test goals. The language is defined by means of Xtext, a framework for the definition of domain-specific languages. Xtext is used to derive a powerful editor integrated with eclipse and with all the expected features of a modern editor. Code Bubbles is a front end to Eclipse designed to simplify programming by making it easy for the programmer to define and use working sets. It provides compact function-based views of the code (all backed by the underlying files) that are displayed in bubbles and that are easily moved around and manipulated on the screen. The bubbles are fully editable. A large bubble area lets the programmer set up different working sets simultaneously and easily move between them.
CSS is a user interface framework for control systems (EPICS, TANGO, TINE, ...) based on Eclipse RCP. Among the features are synoptic/archive/trend/alarm displays.

Documentum administration tool
DRX is a powerful exploration, auditing, and documentation tool that allows Documentum administrators and developers to quickly document vital information about their repositories and environments. DRX provides a simple UI to facilitate logging into the Documentum repository, configuring and running specific reporting modules, and viewing the resulting reports. DRX reports are generated in HTML for easy viewing and XML for more complex processing. DRX is distributed as an EXE file that contains all of the Java code, requisite libraries, JVM and the DFC required to run the program. Its compact distribution and simple installation (just unzip it!) make it easy to run from a memory stick or move from one computer to another. See a missing module? Want enhancements to an existing one? Join the DRX Project Team! The DRX Project is sponsored by Armedia, LLC (www.armedia.com).
